Last updated on NOVEMBER 05, 2016
Applies to:Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 220.127.116.11 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When an application is being redeployed or updated (the application should be stopped before updating) in WebLogic Server 12.1.1, it is getting a different name.
- Deploy and start the application (for example: benefits2) in a production environment
- Stop the application "benefits2" and try updating the application (not a versioned application): this will create a new application named: benefits2-1
The new application "benefits2-1" will be in active state and the old application "benefits2" will be in the failed state.
