Error IAM-2050243 In OIM When Editing User Profile (Doc ID 1535067.1)

Symptoms

Scenario: LDAP Sync creates users in OID by going through OVD (OID is the backend). When the user is created, the "User Adapter" on OVD maps the base DN from "cn=users,ou=oim,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com" to "cn=users,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com". So OIM thinks the user is under "cn=users,ou=oim,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com", but it is added to OID under "cn=users,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com". OID server only holds values under "cn=users,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com". There is no ou=oim in OID. OVD actually does the mapping so that OIM thinks the users are under "cn=users,ou=oim,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com".

However, when OIM tries to reconcile the user updates from OID, there is no mapping done for the changelog adapter. It only filters for changes under "cn=users,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com". This results in the recon rewriting the value of USR_LDAP_DN in the OIM database from "cn=users,ou=oim,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com" to "cn=users,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com".

Need a way to create a map for the "Change Log Adapter", which has a root of cn=changelog to return values as "cn=users,ou=oim,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com" when they are actually coming from to "cn=users,dc=DOMAIN,dc=com".
