WebLogic 10.3.6 Data Source Configuration exception: Cannot load driver: com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver (Doc ID 1535269.1)

Symptoms

After configuring a Datasource with the DB2 driver and restarting the server, WLS is unable to load com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver and throws the following errors:
