Contributor UI Problems In Sites 11gR1 BP1 After CSDT Import of Data From Sites 11gR1 (Doc ID 1536255.1)

Last updated on MARCH 18, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 11.1.1.6.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Contributor UI problems after importing 11.1.1.6.0 CSDT data into a 11.1.1.6.1 environment.

Below are symptoms of the UI problems:

1) An assettype has multiple asset associations.  However on asset edit/create, the Contributor UI just shows one asset association has the "drop zone" while the others are blank.  The browser shows this javascript error:

SCRIPT5022: Tried to register widget with id==MultiVal_[attribute name]_1351276309606 but that id is already registered fw_ui_advanced.js, line 9 character 38577

Inspection of the [attribute name] shows a -12006 in the UI.  -12006 means "There is no such asset type."

2) When editing an asset, the save button is missing in the toolbar.  The browser shows this javascript error:

SCRIPT5022: Tried to register widget with id==fw_ui_dijit_form_AssetContainer_0 but that id is already registered
fw_ui_advanced.js, line 9 character 38577

3) When creating a Recommendation asset, with multiple segments, drag and drop "drop zone" option is not present except for the first segment. The browser shows this javascript error:

SCRIPT5022: Tried to register widget with id==fw_ui_dijit_form_AssetContainer_0 but that id is already registered
fw_ui_advanced.js, line 9 character 38577

The Contributor UI problems only happen for the assets that were imported from the 11.1.1.6.0 CSDT data.  Creating an entirely new flex family does not have any of these Contributor UI problems.
