On an OAM-OIM integration environment (both OAM and OIM running at version), when accessing the "Forgot Password" link shown on the OAM Login-Page, you are redirected to OIM Forgot Password page.
But here, it was noticed that port "80" was added in the value of backUrl parameter, shown in the complete URL of OIM Forgot Password page.

Correctly URL of OIM Forgot Password page should be:
  - https://myidmserver.us.oracle.com/identity/faces/forgotpassword?backUrl=https://<FULLY QUALIFIED HOSTNAME>/identity
But you get instead:
  - https://myidmserver.us.oracle.com/identity/faces/forgotpassword?backUrl=https://<FULLY QUALIFIED HOSTNAME>:80/identity

At the same time, the login to OIM is working fine.
As well, the password reset functionality is still working fine.
Also, if you directly enter the correct URL to browser (https://myidmserver.us.oracle.com/identity/faces/forgotpassword?backUrl=https://myidmserver.us.oracle.com/identity), the password reset functionality is working fine and you are redirected correctly to OIM page.

The purpose of this article is to explain the reason of this situation and how it can be fixed.
