ODI Essbase Metadata Load Results in 'Child Member Dimension with no parent (3331)' or 'Incorrect Dimension (Dimension) For Member x (3308)' (Doc ID 1536419.1)

Symptoms

When running a metadata load to Essbase, the load is failing and one of the following errors is seen (where 'Dimension' is a dimension name and 'x' is a number from the sortid column of the source). The errors are seen in the Essbase IKM error log (see note 1088139.1 for details on enabling the Essbase IKM error log).

1. Child Member Dimension with no parent (3331)

2. Incorrect Dimension (Dimension) For Member x (3308)
