Service Bus 11g: MTOM/XOP and OWSM Policy Support (Doc ID 1537095.1)

Goal

When trying to enable XOP/MTOM on a Proxy and Business Service which have SAML Policies attached (oracle/wss10_saml_token_service_policy) and deploy those service, the following problem (deployment from OEPE or enabling XOP/MTOM via SBConsole, when Policies attached) is encountered:

[OSB Kernel:398147]Service DocumentService/services/document_service_v1_0_proxy is enabled for XOP/MTOM and cannot be marked as a web service security intermediary.

The following documentation states that: Using OWSM policies with MTOM-enabled services is also not supported. ( See http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/dev.1111/e15866/owsm.htm)

What alternatives are there to secure the services and still use XOP/MTOM?
