BAM 11g: ClassNotFoundExceptions During Startup of SOA / BAM Domain AdminServer using WLST 'startServer' (Doc ID 1538244.1)

On : version, BAM Analysis Engine

While starting BAM/SOA Admin server using the WLST startServer command the Admin server startup fails with ClassNotFoundExceptions.



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Commands used to start the server:

$ . /u01/app/oracle/admin/esbbam_domain/aserver/esbbam_domain/bin/
$ java $JAVA_OPTIONS -classpath /u01/app/oracle/product/fmw/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jsp_11.1.1/ojsp.jar:$CLASSPATH $JAVA_PROPERTIES $EXTRA_JAVA_PROPERTIES weblogic.WLST

wls:/offline> startServer(adminServerName='AdminServer', domainName='esbbam_domain', url='t3://esbbamadmtest:7001', domainDir='/u01/app/oracle/admin/esbbam_domain/aserver/esbbam_domain', block='true', timeout=600000, jvmArgs='-Xms1g -Xmx1g -XX:PermSize=256m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m')
