Workflow: Duplicate __PARTROLES__ Field in Start Menu (Doc ID 1538361.1)

Last updated on MARCH 14, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 7.6.2 to 7.6.2 [Release FatWire]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

An error in the "NewContentFront" element causes the hidden input field __ PARTROLES__, which is used for storing information in the table WORKFLOWPARTICIPANTS, to be duplicated.

When reloading the edit form, two hidden input fields named __ PARTROLES__ are generated. A reload is made each time an asset is selected from tree tabs or a parent is added to the asset (with PickAsset Attribute). If there is more than one reload in the form, one of these input fields concatenates with ";" values submitted in __ PARTROLES__. The other field keeps the original value. This causes rows inserted in WORKFLOWPARTICIPANTS table to be inconsistent.

Example:

_PARTROLES_ when loading form first time:
