(Doc ID 1539308.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 15, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Internet Directory - Version 11.1.1.5.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g, i.e., 11.1.1.5.
Scenario's Environment:
Database Tier with 11g 11.2.3 (on a different node)
Web Tier with HTTP, webcache and webtier utilities 11.1.1.5 and pointing to 10.3.5 WLS home with a 10.3.5 installed on a separate node.
Middle Tier with IDM (OID, ODSM, DIP) 11.1.1.5, WLS home 10.3.5 Admin and Managed servers (with IDM admin server and ods and oif managed servers)
JDeveloper 11.1.2.3 applications deployed to the IDM 11.1.1.5 WLS Domain were failing. To resolve this, did the following on the IDM 11.1.1.5 home/domain as per <Document 1328698.1>:
- Upgraded the ADF runtime to 11.1.1.6.0
- Applied <Patch 14582286> then <Patch 14582309>
- Ran ADF upgrade
The WLS version did not change, it is still 10.3.5 and the documentation shows that ADF 11.1.1.6 for JDeveloper 11.2.3.0 is compatible with this version.
Since then, ODSM stopped working.
Navigating through different ODSM tabs hangs indefinetely.
Or, the following symptoms occur:
Accessing DIP from EM fails with:
ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #1
After login to ODSM, either clicking on Home tab or if Home tab is the default, it fails with:
ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #1
Accessing ODSM from EM and selecting other tabs for launch such as Data Browser and logging in, buttons and headings are not correctly displayed, i.e., very small with no wordings/labels.
Logging out and seleting to add a new connection, the menu items are not visible. The "Add New Connection" shows a + sign followed by Ctrl+N. Clicking that option fails with:
ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #1
The WLS Managed Server startup screen and log shows same exception:
javax.el.PropertyNotFoundException: The class 'com.sun.faces.application.resource.ResourceHandlerImpl' does not have the property 'LOGIN_HEADER'.
