Veridata Server Unable To Logon to Database through Veridata Java Agent, Agent remote message (101): 'veridata' could not connect to database (Doc ID 1539792.1)

Symptoms

We have installed OGG Veridata server and Veridata Java agents on the source and target hosts.  We are able to connect to one agent through the Veridata web UI Connection Configuration.  But not the other host.  Veridata web UI returns:

Agent remote message (101): 'veridata' could not connect to database
