Error In WebLogic Server Two-Way SSL Authentication Standalone Client That Uses JNDI Lookup
(Doc ID 1541389.1)
Last updated on JUNE 10, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3.5 to 10.3.6Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Several problems have been found with the JSSE implementation of calling a JNDI client through 2-way SSL.
The way to call from a JNDI client through 2-way SSL is documented at https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/web.1111/e13711/ssl_client.htm#i1039146.
This issue does not happen when using the default Certicom provider. This happens only when using the JSSE SSL provider, which is necessary for instance to use certificates with key lengths > 2048 bits.
