DPS 6x Will not Start Unless Running Ctrl-C After Running dpadm start (Doc ID 1541470.1)

On : version, Administration

When attempting to start DPS,
the following error occurs.

When running dpadm start command and it outputs error messages ( then it will not start ) -
Error messages from customer copying and pasting into SR -
The Directory Proxy Server instance '/opt/sun/[dpsInstanceName]' failed to start after the waiting period.
The Directory Proxy Server instance start has produced the following error output:
The Directory Proxy Server instance '/opt/sun/[dpsInstanceName]' is not running.
After running start and then running ctrl-c (prior to error message output) then it will start

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, administrator can not start DPS without running ctrl-c, and ldapsearch is slow when running against DPS.
