OutOfMemory Issue With WebLogic Due to KeepAliveCache Objects (Doc ID 1541629.1)

Last updated on APRIL 19, 2013

Applies to:

Oracle Weblogic Server - Version 10.3.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When accessing a web service using SSL from WebLogic (WebLogic is the client) an out of memory condition occurs due to a build up of weblogic.net.http.KeepAliveCache objects.

Changing to standard http to access the webservice does not have the issue.

This issue may occur for other https connections that originate from the WebLogic server applications than those based on web services.
