Last updated on AUGUST 14, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Service Bus - Version and later
Oracle SOA Suite - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

We will install Oracle Service Bus (OSB) on the shared disks for our application tier machines (OSB1, OSB2) following the section Installing Oracle Fusion Middleware in the Enterprise Deployment Guide (EDG).

This installation of Oracle Serice Bus is very similar to that described in the EDG, we will use the application tier machines SOA1 and SOA2 for the installation. However, later, we will have to copy the inventory created during the installation to the other application tier machines which share the same shared disks. This will be done after our installation is completed.

Resources Used:

  • The preparation phase for the enterprise environment is completed successfully.
  • All software needed for the installer is available in a staging area.
  • WebLogic Server is already installed in the Fusion Middleware Home directory (MW_HOME) for OSB.

  • Completed OSB installation on all OSB nodes (OSB1, OSB2).
