Symptoms
SSL Handshake failure is seen when making RMI over T3s from WebLogic Server 12.1.x which uses Java 7 JSSE to WebLogic Server 10.3.x version where Java 6 Certicom
is being used. During the SSL Handshake, Certicom side, on receiving TLSv1.2 ClientHello fails and throws "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unsupported Protocol Version"
Scenario shown below is when WLS 12.1.1 is making a SSL call with JSSE TLSv1.2 to WLS 10.3.5.0.6 with Certicom SSL.
