WebCenter IM & Presence Integration With Microsoft Lync Server NOT Working (Doc ID 1544686.1)

Symptoms

WebCenter is integrated with Microsoft Lync, the Instant Messaging and Presence doesn't work as expected in WebCenter Portal Application (Developer's Guide for Oracle WebCenter Portal 11.1.1.6.0 - 35 Integrating the Instant Messaging and Presence Service).

After Logging in, the user cannot see his contacts' status  in the WebCenter Portal Application.

Changes

Deployed Lync 2010 and AD, installed the WebCenter Portal Proxy Application on IIS as per the WebCenter Portal Administrator's guide => 16.2.2.2.7 Installing WebCenter Portal's Proxy Application
