How can reset the connection peak after restarting the Directory Server instance? (Doc ID 1544762.1)

Last updated on MAY 17, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition - Version 5.2 SP6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The value for connectionPeak attribute is not reseted after restarting the instance both if you monitor your Server from command line and console.

On my test DS5.2p6 instance -where connectionpeak: 11 under cn: monitor -  I get always the same result after restarting the instance:

bash-3.00# /var/Sun/mps/shared/bin/ldapsearch -v -h localhost -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w dirmanager -b "cn=monitor" -s base objectclass=* | grep connection
connectionpeak: 11
connection: 27:20130403081554Z:2:1::cn=directory manager:LDAP
currentconnections: 1
totalconnections: 1
