Title Metadata Field is not Retained on Email Checkin Metadata Field Using DesktopIntegration (DIS) build 122 (Doc ID 1545304.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.6.0 version, Content Server and DesktopIntegrationSuite (DIS) build 122 and Framework Folders enabled

When attempting to check in an E-mail using DIS outlook integration, the metadata fields chosen when checking in the email are assigned to the checked in item, except for the title metadata field which reverts to the default

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


Step 1: Open Outlook

Step 2: Click on WebCenter Content ribbon

Step3: Select an email

Step4: Choose the “Check In Mail Item”

Step5: Choose Ok on Attachment option box if the test mail contained an attachment.

Step6: Provide login details if requested.

Step7:

a Check-in form is displayed. Do the following:

b. Change the title to something besides the default

c Change the author to something besides the default


d Change the security group to something besides the default

e Fill in any other required metadata

 

Step8: Next to the Folder field click on browse and browse to a folder (frameworkfolders)

Sept 9; Check in successful, but Title metadata field reverts to default rather then what was entered in Step 7b

NOTE: If on Step 8 the page is refreshed, a new folder is chosen, and then a new title is entered that title does remain

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users cannot find their content since it is not checking in with the title they expect.
