HTTP Requests via a Web Server Are Not Routed to WebLogic Server (Doc ID 1545466.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 05, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Weblogic Server - Version 10.3 and later
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (32-bit)
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
Oracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)
Oracle Solaris on x86 (32-bit)

Symptoms

WebLogic plugin for IPlanet (Sun Java System) is unable to forward HTTP requests to the backend WebLogic Server. Rebooting the server does not help. The configuration in the configuration files such as magnus.conf and obj.conf is correct and when used in another physical machine is working fine. SSL is being used between WLS and the web server. Plug-in version used: 11g (11.1.1.x)

The following messages are seen in the logs:

IPlanet Error Logs

Changes

In this case the hardware was upgraded from 32-bit to 64-bit and the same file system (with an IPlanet installation) was remounted.
