Symptoms
When observing in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g Studio > Designer > Projects ...Variable tree-views in the Uses and Used By lists, it appears that ODI Variable references are absent in a random manner.
For example:
- Variable used as Resource Name of a Datastore (#<PROJECT CODE>.<VARIABLE NAME>)
- In a Package Refresh Variable, Set Variable, Declare Variable... step
- In one Integration Interface Flow tab
- etc
