Symptoms
The installation of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio 11g on Windows fails.
The JRE is installed in folder: <DRIVE>\<JAVA_INSTALLATION_PATH>\Java\JRE_6_xx
Note : The <DRIVE>\<JAVA_INSTALLATION_PATH> represents the actual path from your environment.
Nothing happens when executing the following commands:
setup.exe -jreLoc <DRIVE>\<JAVA_INSTALLATION_PATH>\Java\JRE_6_xx
or
setup.exe -jreLoc <DRIVE>\<JAVA_INSTALLATION_PATH>\JRE_6_xx\bin
The log file shows:
The number of files bootstrapped for the oui is 354.
Invalid JDK passed. Please specify JDK location ( Ex. /home/jdk ), <location>/bin/java should exist.
