Purpose
The Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Backup and Recovery Guide provides best practices, recommendations, and procedures for backing up and restoring the Exalogic hardware and software components for Exalogic Linux Physical and Virtual releases.
Scope
The Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Backup and Recovery Guide describes how to back up and restore compute nodes, switches, storage heads, Exalogic Control vServers, and guest vServers.
The Guide covers backing up and restoring the configuration of the Exalogic infrastructure components, and backing up and restoring the management components (the Exalogic Control Stack) of the cloud infrastructure when the Exalogic machine is deployed in a virtual configuration.
