Symptoms

XMLPost operation failing with "The Login failed for the remote post"

In the xmlpost debug log (specified in the config.ini), the following error is seen when the XMLPost operation is performed:

The Login failed for the remote post.
	Be sure that the authusername and authuserpassword are specified in the configuration file.
		Typical configuration is:
		xmlpost.argname3: authusername
		xmlpost.argvalue3: user_editor
		xmlpost.argname4: authpassword
		xmlpost.argvalue4: user
	Also, be sure that the specified user is defined in the system
	and has the correct ACLs to access the asset tables.
