Errors Preventing the Start of the Engine Application From Process Administrator in JEE Environments (Doc ID 1546605.1)

Symptoms

In a JEE BPM 10g environment there could be intermitent problems starting the BPM Engine from the Process Administrator after finding errors during the stop operation also performed from the Process Administrator. For example, when starting the Engine you might see this exception (in the Engine logs):
