WebCenter Portal Application: Exporting Navigation Models From Administration -> Portal Resources Always Exports The Same Navigation Resource (Doc ID 1546845.1)

Navigation resources are being downloaded and exported from a Web Center Portal custom application.
This is done using the Administration menu for the application -> Resources > Navigation > click a resource > click Download.
This works fine for one Navigation resource.
However, if  another navigation resource is then selected and the 'Download' button selected, the previous one is downloaded again. We can see that the name of the resource in the download dialog box is the previous one.
The way around is this is to click "Navigations" in the left hand menu again, which refreshes the list of navigations and then try the Download again.

A typical situation where this type of export is used would be where content managers can change navigation models at runtime.

In order to not lose changes upon redeployment,  these Navigation models would need to be exported and then used in a  JDeveloper project, as described in this note:
