Information in this document applies to any platform.
The Reporting Administrative Console cannot be used with Oracle DBs, it can only be used with SQL server.

(quoted below)

"Web-based Reporting Administrative Console – accesses the SQL Database
and generates reports using the event records. Reports may also be manually
generated by querying the Oracle Database. The Oracle Database is not
accessible through the Reporting Administrative Console. If you are using the
Oracle Database, you do not need to install the Reporting Administrative Console."

In future versions the Reporting Administrative Console will be removed and reporting should be done by using Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher.
