Symptoms
Operating system details - SunOS for601 5.10 (Generic_142900-11 sun4u)
Install time failure during configuration phase of FMW11.1.1.6 and only the Reports component is chosen.
Verified in install<date_time>.out which shows (snippet):

Installation procedure, including -
- JDK 1.6.0_39
- Install of WLS: java -Xmx1024m -d64 -jar /u01/app/oracle/SOFTWARE/WLS/wls1036_generic.jar
- Install (no configuration) of Reports 11.1.1.2
- Install Forms & Reports 11.1.1.6
- Configuration wizard fails with OPMN error.
During the install, 'opmnctl start' or 'opmnctl reload' commands fail. Although the OPMN parent and child processes are running normally.
Sometimes fails at Creating AS Instance, sometimes OHS, sometimes FR Component and now once creating EM.
Attempting 'retry' in the GUI is never successful.
No impact on the problem with IP address and IPV4 settings defined in opmn.xml.
The test using ShowHostInfo.java showed no problems as desscribed within <Note 757919.1> How To Check The Default IP Address And Hostname Picked Up By a Java Process.
