Symptoms

The IpMonitor is an built-in feature of Coherence as part of its fast death detection mechanism. Please refer to the section on "Configuring Death Detection" in the Oracle Coherence documentation and <Note:1526745.1>,  "What is the purpose of IpMonitor in a Coherence Cluster" for more information.

Below is a sample IpMonitor configuration based on the default Coherence override file:

 
 

Changes

IpMonitor was disabled prior to upgrading to 3.7.1.7 or it was disabled after 3.7.1.7 had been installed.
