Asset Search From Tree Applet Not Working When There Are Too Many Assets (Doc ID 1548239.1)

Symptoms

When there are too many assets under one node in the tree applet, and you try to get more elements using "%" or some string including "%", no records are returned. Only when you type the exact name of an asset does it return that specific asset.

The logs contain an exception:
