When working with WebCenter Content and WebCenter Content: Imaging. The content which we are processing in IPM is being stored in the content server. The problem is that everything has a copy being stored in the content server's vault directory and another copy stored in the content server's weblayout directory. Because IPM has a viewer that only accesses the native file in the content server's vault directory, we do not believe that there is a need for the webviewable version of these files in the weblayout directory.
1) How do we turn off the creation of the Web Layout versions of these files?
2) How do we delete the 400GB of files that are out in the weblayout directory while still writing images to the main storage location. (We do not want to write images to two locations if the webviewable images are not to be used)
We need to recover the disk space where the images have been stored in the weblayout directory.
