Symptoms
Remote Diagnostic Agent (RDA) has been setup and run against Weblogic Server or a Fusion Middleware product which uses WebLogic Server as part of its technology stack.
The output package created by the RDA collection is unexpectedly large - at least 150 Mb in size, potentially much larger e.g 800 - 900 Mb.
The large size of the RDA package may cause difficulties when uploading the file to My Oracle Support.
Changes
In RDA 4.30 a new feature was introduced into the WebLogic Server data collection module. The feature adds the following prompt at set up time:
