Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

1. Renaming a content item from Portal is resulting in the following error :

>services/3 01.11 09:26:20.218 IdcServer-6626 !csUserEventMessage,weblogic,CIS!$ intradoc.common.ServiceException: !csUnableToUpdateInfo,C1000NETDEV010201!csUnableToExecMethod,updateDocInfo
 services/3 01.11 09:26:20.218 IdcServer-6626 *ScriptStack COLLECTION_MOVE_ITEM
 services/3 01.11 09:26:20.218 IdcServer-6626 3:moveContent,dID=12409,dDocName=C1000NETDEV010201

2. COLLECTION_MOVE_ITEM service with parameter dDocTitle is not updating the Title of the content but only the Content Name .

This is happening from WebCenter Portal and WebCenter Content.

Steps to Replicate :

1.Use the following RIDC Code snippet :

           dataBinder.putLocal("IdcService", "COLLECTION_MOVE_ITEM");
           dataBinder.putLocal ("dID", "3215");
           dataBinder.putLocal ("dDocName" ,"ECMPS5_003203");
           dataBinder.putLocal("toContentName","Content Name-from RIDC");
           dataBinder.putLocal("dDocTitle","Title-Rename from RIDC");

2. Above code is same what Portal rename operation issues and with this neither Content Name nor Content Title is updated which is expected .

3.Removing the dDocTitle parameter from the above code then correctly works to update Content Name .
