APEX Interactive Report Gives ORA-6502 Error When Downloading More Than 26 Columns of Report Data (Doc ID 1551419.1)

Goal

When running an APEX Interactive Report  the following error message is seen when try to download data in EXCEL format. If any combination of 26 columns is selected it is fine, the moment 27th column is added the following error occurs :
