SOA 11g: UMS Email Notifications are Sent but not Received by Recipients. STUCK Threads are Seen on the SOA Server(s). (Doc ID 1551821.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.6.0 version, SOA Product Installation

1.)  UMS based BPEL/Human Workflow Email Notifications are being sent successfully, but the recipients are not receiving the email.

2.)  Looking at the UMS related JMS queues, it is noted that there are "Pending" messages on JMS Module: OraSDPM/Queues/OraSDPMDriverDefSndQ1.

In the Weblogic Admin console, navigate to: Services > Messaging > JMS Modules > UMSJMSSystemResource > OraSDPM/Queues/OraSDPMDriverDefSndQ1 > Monitoring Tab

3.)  Taking a thread dump reveals there are STUCK threads displaying the following stack trace:
