Symptoms
When a request is sent to Oracle Traffic Director (OTD) that contains a double-slash ("//"), OTD will replace the double-slash with a single slash ("/") in the request before sending to Origin Server.
For example:
The incoming request is 'GET /test//test1/test.html', which OTD modifies to 'GET /test/test1/test.html' before passing the request to the Origin Server.
This can be seen in the OTD logs, when it is configured to log the header information:
