WebCenter Users May Encounter a Microsoft Password Dialog When Opening Public Microsoft Office Documents

When a user choose to 'Open' a Microsoft Office Document uploaded to WebCenter and/or UCM, a Windows password dialog box is presented for user authentication. Clicking 'Cancel' or 'Ok' twice allows the document to open. Entering user's WebCenter, UCM, or Weblogic credentials does not open the document.
This problem is more likely to be seen if the document has not been opened recently, user is using Windows 7, and the Webcenter instance configured to use SSL. It is also possible to see this behavior under different conditions than those mentioned earlier. However, when downloading the same file, user is not presented with the login box.
