Purpose

We will integrate the soaedg_domain created in previous steps with an external LDAP provider, in this case with Oracle Internet Directory, following the Enterprise Deployment Guide (EDG) for SOA 11g.

Resources Used:

Prerequisites:

  • Oracle Internet Directory (OID) high availability installation is completed.
  • Firewall and Load Balancer for accessing the OID instances from the app tier machines is completed successfully. In our case, the OID instances will be accessed via the alias oid.group2.oracle.com.

Deliverables:

  • The soaedg_domain is using the external LDAP store in our OID instances.
  • The policy store is transferred to OID and works successfully.
