Error: "User Name and Password do not match" When Login to WebCenter Portal (Doc ID 1555177.1)

Symptoms

Users can log in to WebCenter Portal using an account stored in Oracle Internet Directory (OID) but not in Active Directory (AD).
Receive the error:

"User name and password do not match"
