Getting errors when double clicking on ini files in eclipse connecting to a remote WCS instance (Doc ID 1555291.1)

Symptoms

After configuring eclipse using CSDT plugin to connect to a remote WebCenter Sites instance, see the following in Project Explorer:

 - <project_name>
  - JRE System Library [jre7]
  - src (empty)
  - Config
    - batch.ini (dummy link)
    - futuretense_xcel.ini (dummy link)
    - futuretense.ini (dummy link)
    - gator.ini (dummy link)
  - WEB-INF (empty | dummy folder)

When double clicking on any ini files listed, the following error is thrown:

"
An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: Must specify a URI scheme:CS_INSTALLDIR/<ini_filename>
"
