Exalogic guest vServer CPU soft Lockup's, VM Host Dom0 compute node server reboot (Doc ID 1555947.1)

Problem Description

In following listed scenarios, the issue can be seen:

Scenario 1 : CPU soft lockup in Guest vServers resulting an intermittent hang for a short period on the guest vServers.

Scenario 2 :
Oracle VM server hosts (compute nodes, dom0) can become unresponsive and lose network connectivity during long idle periods. Under this condition and as designed in Oracle VM, the OCFS2 heartbeat mechanisms can initiate a server reboot if the host is unable to communicate with the remainder of the cluster. 

Possible Symptoms

Symptom’s for Scenario 1 : Following Exception Trace on vServer console shows the soft lockup.
