Symptoms
Using mail attribute for active directory login, user group membership not showing up on profile pages. Login succeeds, but JPS provider cannot locate groups.
AD authenticator provider settings in WebLogic set to the following. The user-name-attribute is set to mail, meaning the users will login using their email address:
