Goal

When multiple objects (like Roles) require the update or creation of Membership Rules, it may not be feasible to perform the creation or update using the Rule editor in the OIM Self Service UI.  Instead, it's suggested to use the OIM Java API to perform such updates.

This document provides the details needed as you begin to create or update Membership Rules (for example, on a Role object) using OIMs Java API.
