Symptoms
Siteminder webagent is being used with Oracle iPlanet Web Server 6.1. It has an authentication scheme that accepts X509 certificate. To achieve this the following directive is added to the obj.conf of the web server:
However, the certificate pop-up is not displayed on the browser with Oracle iPlanet Web Server 6.1 SP12. When the same authentication is configured with Web Server 6.1 SP17, it works fine. What is contributing the difference between 6.1 SP12 and 6.1 SP17?
