BAM 11g: Startup Time is Excessive (Doc ID 1560779.1)

BAM is taking hours to startup
If you attempt to login into the BAM Console, you get:

The BAM Server is unavailable.
The server may have been started or restarted recently.
Try logging in again after the startup completes.
If the problem persists, contact your System Administrator.


and the following exceptions are captured in the log file:



BAM should startup in minutes instead of hours.
