Symptoms
This article is related to the issues discussed in <Note:1561014.1>, Coherence*Extend Clients That Register Cache MapListeners Do Not Receive The Correct Number Of Events.
The principal difference is that the problem is not restricted to just Coherence*Extend clients, as this can be encountered by clients that are direct members of a Coherence cluster. The application is also transforming the MapEvent objects, modifying them as they are issued, which is key to the problem being seen as without tranformation the correct number of events are received.
The transformation is accomplished with the use of a MapEventFilter and MapEventTransformer implementation, for example:
