Oracle Traffic Director OTD Cannot Communicate Between Admin Server and Administration Node (Doc ID 1561339.1)

Symptoms

It has been observed that while trying to configure a  new Virtual host, the HTTP listener from the Web Administration Console  (using "https://<HOST>:<PORT>/") to deploy the configuration, the action fails to work each and every time.  It is found tha the server configuration (server.xml) is not getting updated in the remote Administration node. Any new configuration from OTD admin console not reflecting in the admin nodes.

The Admin console shows that all the instances are seen in "Unknown" status and deploy any new configuration cannot be deployed

While restarting the servers, it looks like the the SSL certificate has expired.
