Goal

How to Install Oracle Internet Directory 11g (11.1.1.x) on Windows 2008 R2 w/SP1. This has been a difficult task due to many errors and different workarounds required. Bugs have been filed for these issues on each version. Oracle Support is providing a process to accomplish the installation and configuration while also requesting Development to provide a final fix within the installation, within config.bat code. The issues are not limited to R2 SP1, but is the final case prompting this direction.
