Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.7.0 version, BPEL Service Engine

HTTPS Web Service errors with SOAP exception reading response headers

On calling HTTPS Web Service with basic authentication using the Web Service outbound adapter.  During the testing, the following SOAP exception occurred during reading the response header.

Non Recoverable System Fault :
faultName: {{http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension}remoteFault} messageType: {{http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension}RuntimeFaultMessage} parts: {{ summary=oracle.fabric.common.FabricInvocationException: Unable to invoke endpoint URI "https://url..com/endpoint" successfully due to: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Encountered premature EOF while reading Version ,detail=Unable to invoke endpoint URI          "https://url..com/endpoint"successfully due to: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Encountered premature EOF while reading Version ,code=null}
