Tuxedo Application Runtime for CICS and Batch 12cR1: 3270 Terminal Can Not Be Connected To ART When Using LUNAME (Doc ID 1562926.1)

Last updated on JUNE 12, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo Application Runtime for CICS and Batch - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When setting LU name with 3270 terminal, it can not connect to ART.

PCOMM seems to add LU name after terminal type.

e.g. BM-3278-2-E@HOGE

Here is debug trace of ARTTCPH:

TcpNetworkProtocol::msgrcvCB:   Calling user callback for nc = 121430C0
IOPort::receiveCB:              { 0x12138250
IOPort::receiveCB:                Incomming buffer is at 12143210, size = 23
IOPort::receiveCB:                Received Data =
dump 12143210 to 12143226 (0x17 23)
3210     0  FF FA 18 00 49 42 4D 2D  33 32 37 38 2D 32 2D 45
3220    16  40 48 4F 47 45 FF F0 ..  .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..  @HOGE.p

If terminal model has @LUNAME, ARTTCPH will search exact name including LUNAME in typeterms.desc, so it can not find it, then ARTTCPH disconnect connection and exit.
